How Do You Identify Emerging Leaders?
In your organization, you work with many different personalities, diverse cultures, and a variety of projects. How can you identify the emerging leaders? Look around, these employees have little or no formal authority. Typically, other employees gravitate to this person. They often become the spokesperson for their work group. This employee probably has many contacts within the organization and they use this access to their success on projects. They clearly articulate goals and are supportive of their work groups. Additionally, these individuals are charismatic, high-performers. With this knowledge, the emerging leaders are identifiable.
